The American Salon magazine site was a great project for NEWMEDIA and Questex. Both teams worked well together to complete the project ahead of time (under a tight six week schedule), identified and added several new features that allowed them to showcase all of their existing content, and delivered a site that worked and looked great on large desktop screens, tablets, and phones. Plus we learned a bit about the latest salon trends in the process.

Living in Denver, CO and working in San Diego, CA our primary contact wanted a Denver-based website designer to handle a variety of web design projects for this global brand.  We worked with multiple members of their team which included both internal and external resources, some as far away as South America. NEWMEDIA has designed and built several websites, done extensive graphics work, and fully managed their global SEO/organic online presence.

They found NEWMEDIA, and we met with them immediately to review their goals, discuss realistic expectations – with both time and budget – and make a plan. It turned out that, by utilizing Drupal’s core functionality combined with several preexsiting modules, we could focus our efforts on the truly custom aspects of the application, maximizing the overall budget to the extent that we were able to deliver a larger functional set in a shorter span of time than had been the case with the original partner.

NEWMEDIA set out on our own mission: design, build, and deliver an incredible website for Denver Rescue Mission and get it launched before the holidays, since that is their busiest time of year for donations. Considering we had approximately three months to pull this off, it was not quite mission impossible, but we knew we would need to be firing on all cylinders to accomplish everything we wanted to before time ran out.

FierceMarkets needed a Drupal web development team with a proven history of successfully delivering sites with tons of contentcomplicated information architectures, and challenging design requirements. While the FierceMarkets site needed help in all these areas, it was really just the tip of the iceberg in an even larger effort to refresh and update their brand along with all their other publication sites. We are currently in the process of designing, architecting, and building an ecosystem that will update and move more than 60 FierceMarkets publication sites from Drupal 6 to Drupal 8. It’s a lot of work, but lucky for us we love this stuff.
